!!! Very
Important Information !!!
I have to do something about the spam mail in Eurodrag's mailbox, because every
single day, I have over 100 useless and ennoying spam mails in the mailbox.
The risk that I delete a mail you sent me, because I think it is spam mail,
gets bigger, and I don't want that to happen. So this is what you need to do
when sending me mail:
When you
send me a mail, ALWAYS include the word "RealMail" in the subject
line or somewhere in the text of the body. If you don't do it, your mail will
be deleted before I can read it!
All the mails you send to me from one of the pages of the Eurodrag website will
have the word "RealMail" included automatically, do not delete that
word! I am very sorry for the inconvenience, but it is the only way to filter
out your much appreciated mails to me... |

Sunday, June 5
The results of a very spectacular Main Event 2005 are finally online. Being too busy isn't good either, and I had trouble finding time to update the database with the
data that TSI timers kindly provided. A lot of records this event, and some really great racing! Congratulations to all drivers!
You can got to the numbers by following this link to the Main Event 2005 results.

Wednesday March 30
Dear Racers,
We are back in business after the winter stop, posting the results of the first race of the year, the Santa Pod Easter Thunderball. Just click the link to view all results.
We are also very glad that Andy Marrs from TSI Timers is going over the numbers again, as he did in the previous years. Really nice working together, thanks Andy!
Feel free to drop me a mail if you have any questions...
|
|
Friday October 29
We are updating the 2005 calender as soon as we get the infoormation in from the organising tracks.
The preliminary dates of the FIA championship have been added, Hockenheim mysteriously disappeared from the list...
Instead, we might be going to Bahrein for a round, which is not sure yet...
|
|
Tuesday September 14
A big thank you again to Andy Marrs and TSI Timers for another year of
fruitfull cooperation! After getting all the result data from them they were
moved into the eurodrag database resulting in the
European Finals Racedata
|
|
Friday September 3
The results of the Drachten Finals are added to the database :
Take me there...

|
Wednesday June 30
Dear Racers, as soon as I have the results in from the timing crew at The Pod I
will publish the results of the Summer Nationals, but we are attending a race
in France over the weekend, so I cannot promise the results will be online
before that...
|
|
Saturday June 19
And the results from the first race in the Netherlands are imported as well,
Drachten 1 is the link to follow.... Thanks to Ben for providing us
with the database from the timing system, we hope to work as well together in
the future!

Tuesday June 16
It has taken me some time, but finally the
2004 Main Event data has been imported. As usual, thanks to TSI Timers
and especially Andy Marrs! He has put such a lot of effort in splitting up
between all the classes that my software just crashed, so he kindly provided me
with the rough data I could work with. I think I have a little glitch in the
Junior Dragster qualifying rankings though, so I will have to take a look at
that. Never understood how the indexes and reaction times in that class worked.
Can anyone help me out on this? A little mail would be appreciated (don't
forget to include the word RealMail somewhere in the text).
I would also like to import the data from the last race at Drachten (12-13
June) but the new timing crew at Drachten is not fully up-to-date with the
system yet, so I hope I will get the results soon.
|
|
Tuesday April 14
The first results of 2004 are online now, the
2004 Easter Thunderball data has been imported. As usual, thanks to TSI
Timers and especially Andy Marrs!
Hopefully 2004 will bring a lot of entertainment and racing pleasure to all.

Saturday April 3
We received word from French Dragracer Eric Angeloni that there will be a
championship held in France over 4 events, for 3 street classes, Super Streer,
Super Gas and Super Comp. First race of the competition will be the one at
Lanas on May 8-9. For more info, contact
Eric Angeloni. If you can read French, the following documents describe
the championship and include entry forms:

Monday September 29
For the last time this year, the Santa Pod results have been added to the
database. You can find the UK National Finals
here... Hopefully the cooporation between TSI Timers and Eurodrag
will continue for years to come, thanks Andy Marrs for all the data!

|
Monday September 8
After spending the weekend in Oschersleben for the Dragsqter Finale Magdeburg,
which was a really nice event, I was glad to see the European Finals results in
the mailbox, so I hurried to get them in the database.
Oh boy, what a magnificent run Kim Reymond made in his Top Fueler!
See the results
here...
|
|
Monday September 1
The results from the Drachten race in Holland are online. Too bad it rained a
lot on Sunday, so the eliminations have not been fully run. Results are
here... I am currently trying to contact Compulink to plug in to
their Startrack datasystem that is in use at a lot of tracks around Europe,
which will enable me to add a lot more future and past results...
|
|
Tuesday July 15
Just made it through the Drachten MPM Internationals results, a bit more
work than anticipated because of some timing problems during the event. A big
Thanks to Timing Services Holland for the cooporation! It was a lovely event
with excellent weather!
You can see the Dutch results
here...
|
|
Tuesday July 1
I have managed to write import code for the Onysix Timing Data, which means the
Drachten-Holland Timing data is now online
Take me there.... As of now, all the timing done by Timing Services Holland will
be ready to be imported in the database. The results also include all the
qualification runs of every participant, not just the best ones, just like the
Santa Pod results. A big thanks to Torsten Kath (Yes, from the
famous Kath Brothers) for all the timing data. Vandel is up next on my list
now...
|
|
Monday June 30
Received Files from Vandel a few weeks ago, and I will try to write some code
to import it into the database. Also the Drachten Results from Onysix are in,
and I will try to integrate them ASAP.
Andy Marrs just sent me the results of the Summer Nationals at the Pod, full
results are online, just click
Here.
|
|
Friday June 20
Still no results from Vandel. Drachten weekend was superb, I will be receiving
database files from the timing crew at Drachten, they did a real good job! Also
working on the timing data of the 2 Power Nationals at Shakespear...
Keep checking us out...
|
|
Tuesday June 3
Last weekend I met Tommy Nilsson, the founder of this website, and I watched
him work in the timing booth at the Vandel Race, which had very good weather
and racing.
I am awaiting his mail with the results so I can add them to the database...so
keep tuned in.

The results of the 2003 Big Bang have been fed to the database-beast, look in
the results under UK 2003, or click

For the Speedfreaks Ball, I have just added
Eric Teboul with his fabulous 5 second rocket bike run.

Wednesday April 23
The results of the 2003 Santa Pod Easter Thunderball have been added to the
database. You can click this
Beatifull Link to go straight to the results, or start from the general
results page in the left menu.
Keep them demands for logins coming ...
|
|
Saturday March 15
I get mails sometimes on the personal best lists in the left menu here, be
aware that they still come from the old database, and are often outdated, it is
the next thing on my list...
|
|
Saturday March 8
-
I worked my way back to 1998 for the Santa Pod results, the database is growing
steadily...
-
Don't forget to check out the 2003
Calendar, all NEAFP approved races are marked, only the Alteno event in
Germany is not definite yet.
-
Tell me what you think on the site by submitting your thoughts in the
Guestbook!
-
If you want to learn a little more on how the European Dragracing Database
works, check out the Database Help.
-
If you have no login yet, go to the Drivers
section, look up your name and once you arrive on your own driver's page, you
will find a link at the bottom to request your login and password.
-
The Personal best links in the left menu still show results for the old
database, so there might be errors. The times on the drivers personal pages are
from the new database and should be correct.
-
I have entered some track info in the Tracks
section, but it is far from complete, it will be the next thing on
the agenda.

|
Thursday February 27
Currently finished 2000 for the Santa Pod results, I added about 7000
qualifying runs in the last couple of days...
This also is a call to all timing teams in Europe to contact me in order to
make agreements on how I could get information on the races in a convenient
format. Please send me a mail folks, and thanks in advance !!
|
|
Monday February 24
I have written some code so that you can see all of the qualifying runs, not
just the best one. You have to click the More... link next to the qualifying
results to see a popup with all the other qualification runs.
Off course, this feature will only work for races that can supply me with the
necessary data, like the races at Santa Pod. I will be re-importing data for
the Pod back to 1995 this week, so have a look at those races to see this new
functionality.
I will try to contact as many time keepers as possible to get the full data
from the races.
|
|
Thursday February 20
Finished Sko Uno apart from stock/super stock, and Hockenheim apart from the
bikes. I also re-entered the 2002 Santa Pod Main event and Easter Thunderball
with full blown data. I will go back til 1995 doing this for the Pod. Thanks to
Andy Marrs from TSI Timers who got me the computer files on all those races.
Keep asking for your logins folks, so that you can keep your own personal info
up-to-date.
|
|
Saturday February 8
Oh boy, it has been really busy lately, so all the work that is still needed
here in the database has been set back a little. I have written the code to
import data from paper, and I am currently importing the Sko Uno race from last
year (thanks to www.dragracing.se for the data). Also Hockenheim needs to be
imported that way...
I would like to have all the previous races imported before the season starts
in April, so if you notice that a race is still missing, send me a mail about
it!
|
|
Tuesday November 20
Some major improvements in the Drivers section: Some screen resolutions were
not supported, now everything from 800x600 and up is supported.
Full functionality to maintain personal and vehicle information, you can add,
delete and switch vehicles between races.
All this requires you to log in to the site off course, so if you don't have a
login yet, look up your Driver page and click
the link at the bottom of the screen.
Once logged in, go to your driver's page and click the change info button which
takes you to an overview screen to manage your personal info and your vehicle
info. Be sure to read the help file by clicking the "Click here for help..."
button.

|
Tuesday October 29
On the right, you will find a new link to a page that explains a litlle how the
database works
|
|
Saturday October 26
Today, a major new step in the database has been added. You will be able to
maintain your own personal and vehicle info. To do this, you will need to log
in to the site, so that you are able to change your information.
So how do you get a login and password? Simple, look up yourself in the drivers
section that you can access by clicking on the Drivers
link on the left and go to your personal drivers page. There you will find a
link on the bottom of the page that will allow you to send me an e-mail to
request login and password. It would help if you send me a photo of yourself
that I can include in your personal page, together with that mail.
You will receive a mail from me with your login and password, and a helping
guide on how to maintain your own information in the database.
Help us make this database the best in the world, and send your mail today!
|
|
Saturday October 12
OK, I have added a Drivers section which you can access by clicking on the
Drivers link in the left menu.
This is just a first test to see if the concept is working, and the data it
gets from the database is not always correct (Ton Pels has a best 1/4 mile ET
of 4.7, I am sure he would like that to be correct but unfortunately it isn't,
sorry Ton).
I will keep correcting the numbers, and will implement the login next, so that
every driver can update his personal and car info.
I'll keep you posted!
|
|
Wednesday October 3
This is the first version that is released to give you an idea of what's
coming.
I have added the results from the European
Finals and UK National Finals in
Santa Pod.
What has changed so far : You can click the names in the qualifying and
elimination results to view time slips, but since the data was not available
for results prior to the changes, they are only fully available for the races I
imported.
What still has to come :
-
Every driver will be able to log in and maintain his own personal information,
car information and view statistics on his performance over time.
-
You will be able to see all the qualifying runs, not just the best one.
-
Competition index changes will be linked to the event and driver that broke it.
-
I will be including all bike classes as I already did for the UK results.
-
A complete list of European tracks with routeplans and contact information +
photo's. I therefor invite every track to send me as much information about
their track as possible!
There are some things you need to be aware of :
-
The Personal Best, Championships and Records are NOT YET updated and are still
retrieved from the old database.
-
The driver search is also retrieving it's information from the old database and
is no longer up to date.
As there is a lot of work to be done, and a day still has just 24 hours, I will
gradually add new features to the site, and get things updated and working, but
I plan to have the complete site, with all goodies, up and running for the next
season!
Any suggestions are welcome at
Erwin@eurodrag.com.
I wish to thank Tommy Nilsson for handing over the site to me, and for all the
work he has done over the years to make this site the European reference for
Drag Race Results!
Get your cars and bikes ready for a rumbling next season, take care and have
fun with the site !
